Don't you love when eating healthy is amazing? Most of all, I just love making food into bowls. You can literally pick any protein, throw some brown rice/sweet potatoes in it, & then add a veggie. It's that easy.

Today I am sharing with you one of my favorites. Ground turkey with sweet potatoes.

This is the perfect combo because turkey is a leaner meat & sweet potatoes are a great overall vegetable for your diet. It is one of the best vegetables/foods you can eat with the highest amount of potassium in it as well!

But enough rambling, I'll get right to the recipe.

First, cook your ground turkey. I like to add in cumin, chili powder, white pepper, garlic, salt, smoked paprika, etc. Anything to up that flavor. If you read all my other recipes, you know ya girl seasons the crap out of everything! Even Gordon Ramsey tells us if you don't season your food, you'll basically screw up your food.

While the turkey is cooking, peel and cube your sweet potatoes. I like to line a cookie sheet with foil before baking to reduce less mess.

I use a convection oven which basically speeds up the oven time needed for cooking. I cooked at 375 for about 15 minutes and they were perfect.

Make sure you toss your potatoes in oil of choice and some salt and pepper.

Once your meat is cooked through, add in about 1/4 cup of water and cover. Simmer until all your food is ready to go. This will help keep your turkey nice and juicy!

Once everything is cooked, chopped & ready to go......

All you do is assemble the bowl. This isn't rocket science.

I like to top off with my favorite mozzarella cheese and some cilantro!

This is great for meal prepping! I actually made a bunch, combined it all together, and stored it in the fridge!
