I will stop talking and get to posting this great recipe for you. Just a heads up, this may seem like a lot of work. However, I took in depth photos just so you would really know how I did this. It may be a little time consuming, but they are worth it!

These are all the lovely ingredients I used!

Shortbread Crust: --> Preheat oven to 350

One by one, add in your crust ingredients. The rolled oats, the coconut flour, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and coconut oil melted. Once all combined, blend in a food processor, or in my case, a blender that doubles as both.

Your combined crust will look like this!

Now time to grease your pan and spread your crust evenly!

Pop in the oven for 12-15 minutes.

Let cool.

Caramel Layer:

In a small saucepan, combine your almond butter (I used Justin's vanilla), maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla, and sea salt. Combine until smooth. Let cool and then spread over your crust. Put in freezer for 25 minutes!

*blurry photo, sorry guys*

After it's frozen, pictured above!

Chocolate Layer:

In a small saucepan combine your cacao powder, coconut oil, maple syrup. Once everything is melted and combined, pour over your bars and freeze for another 25 minutes!

After you freeze for 25 minutes, flip your pan upside down to bring the full bar out!

Then chop into thin rectangles!

There you have it, Healthy Twix Bars.

Go make yourself some & don't share, share, bring it for Thanksgiving dessert...whatever your heart desires!
