You heard that right, cold brew frosting. So delicious it is stupid.

I love frosting on top of brownies, anyone else out there? I feel like sometimes it can be a little overwhelming, but not with homemade frosting!

I used #chameleoncoldbrew to make the frosting & I am swooning over it. In addition, making the brownies from scratch is a game changer. I am a sucker for some boxed brownie mixes at Trader Joes but from scratch is the way to go.

If you prefer to just have the recipe card, I will link it at the bottom!

First step is to cream your butter and your sugar. I don't use normal sugar anymore guys, always coconut sugar!

In a microwave safe bowl, warm up your unsweetened chocolate in 30 second increments. Be careful to not burn your chocolate!

Slowly add in your chocolate, eggs and vanilla.

Next you will mix in your flour. Do this slowly and make sure to not over mix.

Brownies go in the oven for around 30 minutes or so on 325. However, I like my brownies super dense and fudgey. Cook to your desired consistency.

While your brownies are baking, get started on your frosting/icing.....gee whatever you want to call it!

Cream together your softened cream cheese along with way too much powdered sugar. I felt a cavity come on mixing this in. Add in 1/4 cup of cocoa to make it chocolatey.

My favorite part is adding in the cold brew. You don't have to use cold brew, I just drink it so it will get used in my house. If you don't have cold brew, brew some super strong coffee. Make sure it is cooled before adding in.

Frosting might be a little runny and that is okay. I think it helps get the frosting all over the brownie for even tasting bites mmmm.

This is a great afternoon pick me up. It is also not too sweet surprisingly, so no calling in for an appointment for the dentist. Your blood sugar will be fine too, just eat balanced!
